Before Every Meals, Drink Water to Lose Your Weight


Drinking Water before meal is helpful to loose weight. Around half an hour before meal, drink about half liter water (around 2 glass of water).  It will boost your weight loss as it helps you burn more calories. Remember that, this is not a myth, it is proven by scientific research.

Few studies were conducted to find out the relationship between weight loss and drinking water before meal. Those studies showed that there is a strong relationship between weight loss and drinking water before meal. Those persons who drink water half a liter before meal lose weight their weight 44% more compared to those people do not drink water before meal.

Dennis EA1, Dengo AL, Comber DL, Flack KD, Savla J, Davy KP and Davy BM from Department of Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia, USA also found the same result during their research on middle aged and older adults.

They found that if over weight adults drink water before meal, they lose more weight compared with those overweight adults who do not drink water before meal.
